If you are in a hurry but still want to do a quick workout, that is actually hard, then try this one that I put together today!
All you need is chin up bar. Don’t have one in your back yard? Your gym will have one. Don’t have a gym membership? Go find a park… they have monkey bars.
No excuses. Here you go!
Do 30 seconds of each exercise then take a 30 second break and then repeat.
Shin Bangers: Start at a hanging position then just swing your legs up and try and get your feet to the bar repeat for 30 seconds.
Knee Tucks: Start at a hanging position and bring your knees to your chest while staying as straight as possible and repeat for 30 seconds.
Straight Leg Hold: Start at a hanging position and hold your legs out parallel to the ground for 30 seconds if you have to take a quick break then bring your legs right back up.
Hanging Bicycles: Start at a hanging position then alternate bringing one leg at a time to your chest for 30 seconds.
Straight Leg Alternating Lifts: Start at a hanging position then alternate bringing each leg up parallel to the ground for 30 seconds.
If you have never done anything like this before it is going to be really hard, especially on your hands. So if you can’t do each exercise for 30 seconds just let go and rest for a few seconds and then jump back up until the 30 seconds is up and just try and get as many reps in as you can.
For a complete workout go for a 20 minute run around town before the bar circuit! This is what I did today and I felt great afterwards!
