Orange Dreamsicle Smoothie

Yummmm! This is the most delicious smoothie I’ve ever created, for real. You need to try it ASAP!

1 Cup Frozen Peaches
1/2 Cup Frozen Mango
1/2 Cup Vanilla Greek Yogurt
3/4 Cup Orange Juice

Refreshing Green Pineapple Kiwi Smoothie

I randomly threw this together and not going to lie, I totally outdid myself. Maybe it’s just me, but I think this is one of my best smoothies in a long time!

This is what I blended together in my NINJA:

2 Kiwis
1 Cup Frozen Pineapple
1 Cup Frozen Green Sliced Apples
1 Large Celery Stick
1/2 Cup Kale
2 Cups Water

I had a horrible headache before I drank this and it helped it go away, sometimes all you need is something packed with nutrients!

 

**Also if you noticed I haven’t posted on here since May 24 it’s because I was in a car accident and I’m suffering from my 5th concussion. I’m starting to feel better but I still have headaches especially if I concentrate too hard, so I’m going to try to post as much as I can but please bear with me.

This is one of the more greener smoothies I’ve tried so far and I was a little worried about not liking it at first but it was surprisingly really sweet and easy to drink.

Blend together:

Handful of Spinach
Handful Of Frozen Apple
Hanful Of Frozen Mango
Handful Of Cucumber
2 Stalks Of Celery
1/2 A Lemon
Handful Of Parsley
It Works Greens
Coconut Water To Desired Thickness

Blueberry, Pineapple, Banana Smoothie

Blend together:

1 Banana
Handful of frozen blueberries
2 Pieces of frozen pineapple
Spoonful of plain greek yogurt
2 Spoonfuls of milled flaxseeds
1 Pack of It Works Greens
Enough almond milk to make it desired thickness

New Year’s Day Hangover Smoothie Remedy

If you are planning on having some drinks tonight, you want to add these items to your list of things to pick up at the store before you head out to your big New Year’s Eve party. You will thank me later.

*Coconut Water
*Bananas
*Chia Seeds
*Honey

I suggest freezing the bananas tonight so they are ready to go in the morning. If you forget, just add some ice to your smoothie to make it nice and icy.

Blend together:

1 Banana
2 Cups of Coconut Water
1 Table Spoon Chia Seeds

Top with honey for some extra sweetness and antioxidants!

When you drink alcohol you get very dehydrated so the key to curing a hangover is re-hydrating your body and replenishing with the nutrients that you lost.  Coconut water is amazingly hydrating and bananas contain a lot of potassium which helps replenish the potassium that you lose drinking alcohol. Chia seeds, like honey are natural antioxidants which are great for your overall health and will help you feel back to normal in no time.
